This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of all personal data within the framework of our provision of services to you.
The scope, purpose, and legal basis of our data processing services
Huawei Technologies (Belgium) NV (hereinafter "Huawei") collects and processes your following personal data for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon services:
- Phone number
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6, Paragraph 1, lit. b) of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All collected data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to be stored; or, in the case of legal storage obligations, processing of this data will be restricted, unless you consent to the further use of your personal data.
If you have consented to this additional processing, your data will also be used in future service cases, to identify customers, to improve products, and to conduct customer surveys. The legal basis for this is Article 6, Paragraph 1, lit. a) of the EU-GDPR. You may permanently revoke your consent to all present and future use of this data at any time.
If this processing is necessary for ensuring the legitimate interests of our company or a third party, and if the interests, fundamental rights, and fundamental freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the aforementioned company interest, Article 6, Paragraph 1, lit. f) of the EU-GDPR shall serve as the legal basis for this further processing.

Please note that, despite your revocation, we will process your data in accordance with Article 17, Paragraph 1, lit. b) of the EU-GDPR insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of our active contracts or in order to safeguard our legitimate interests.
Recipients of your personal data
We partly use external service providers to help process your data. These partner organizations have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and are regularly inspected for compliance. Furthermore, we may pass on your data to third parties if we offer participation in promotions, competitions, contracts, or similar services together with our partners.
No data shall be transferred to recipients outside the European Economic Area (EEA). An exception applies to your device's IMEI. The IMEI will be transferred to Huawei Device Co., Ltd., which is based in the People's Republic of China, and this transfer will be conducted in accordance with the European Standard Contractual Clauses to provide appropriate safeguards. This transfer is conducted for the purpose of fulfilling the service agreement on the basis of Article 49, Paragraph 1, lit. b) of the EU-GDPR.
